Brian Mankwitz | Managing Director
Mr. Mankwitz joined Mantucket Capital in 2008. Prior to joining Mantucket, Mr. Mankwitz was an investment banker at St. Charles Capital, a middle market investment bank focused on mergers and acquisitions, private capital formation, and related advisory services. Prior to St. Charles, Mr. Mankwitz led private equity investments for Mankwitz Kurtz Investments, a family office private equity investment firm. Mr. Mankwitz holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, and a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. He is actively involved and holds leadership positions in numerous business and community organizations.
Shelby Taffet | Senior Associate
Ms. Taffet joined Mantucket Capital in 2014. Prior to joining Mantucket, Shelby was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank’s Global Natural Resources Group, where she evaluated and executed mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions across the energy sector. Shelby holds a B.A. from Rice University.
Ian McLeod, CFA | Associate
Mr. McLeod joined Mantucket in 2017. Prior to Mantucket, Mr. McLeod was Vice President of Global Real Estate at Chatham Financial, an independent debt and derivatives advisory firm, where he provided risk management solutions and advice to Commercial Real Estate clients. Prior to that, Mr. McLeod’s career began at the Vanguard Group trading fixed income securities. Mr. McLeod earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, holds a B.S. in Finance from Northern Arizona University, and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) designation.
Geoff Harrison | Analyst
Mr. Harrison joined Mantucket in 2019. Prior to Mantucket, Mr. Harrison was a Senior Manager at Boulder Equity Analytics, where he was actively involved in strategy, fundraising, operations, and finance. Prior to that, Mr. Harrison worked for a discretionary portfolio manager, producing research on public market investments. Mr. Harrison holds a B.S from the University of Colorado, Leeds School of Business, where he graduated with distinction, and has also passed level one of the CFA program.

Wendy Kane | President
Ms. Kane joined Mantucket in 1999. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. While managing assets, she also provides accounting, tax & estate planning, and management & execution of financial and legal transactions. Prior to joining Mantucket, she worked at Arthur Andersen LLP. Ms. Kane has served on the Board of Advisors for the University of Denver and as an Alumni Mentor for Delta Gamma. Ms. Kane holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Denver, as well as a B.S. and Master’s Degree in Accounting.
Darek Gibbons | Vice President, Finance
Mr. Gibbons joined Mantucket Capital in 2007. Prior to joining Mantucket, Mr. Gibbons was the CFO of Yamagata Corporation, a private equity firm based in Salt Lake City. In addition to his duties as CFO, Mr Gibbons was acting controller for several of the company’s investments. Prior to Yamagata Corporation, Mr. Gibbons was a finance manager at Novell, where he served on the special pricing committee and was instrumental in redesigning the internal management reports. Prior to Novell, Mr Gibbons worked for five years at Ernst and Young, LLP in the audit department. Mr. Gibbons holds a B.S. and Master’s in Accountancy from Brigham Young University.
Holli Hartman | General Counsel
Ms. Hartman joined Mantucket in 2014, and provides legal counsel and risk management services. Prior to joining Mantucket, Ms. Hartman practiced for thirteen years as a litigator and employment-law counselor at the Denver office of the national law firm of Baker & Hostetler LLP. She is a member of the Colorado and Montana bars. She serves as a member of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law Alumni Council, and also sits on the Cancer League of Colorado’s Corporate Advisory Board. Ms. Hartman holds a J.D. from the University of Denver and a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from Iowa State University. Before attending law school, Ms. Hartman was a newspaper reporter and editor for The Des Moines Register and USA Today.
